Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics (OCC) Review

Like most women, I’m a sucker for lip products. Whether I’m doused in makeup, or my face is bare, it’s always nice to throw on a splash of color for the lips. Lipsticks, balms, gloss…they’re all so nice. But what about a TAR?

OCC or Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics have produced lip tars which are SO pigmented, you can’t pass these up. Not only are they 100% Vegan they’re so luxe and bright. You have to have them.

I purchased ‘Hoochie’, a purple-pink color, and ‘Rx’, a vibrant electric blue.

They are pretty true to color, however, ‘Hoochie’ was a little more pink than I expected. It’s still a very beautiful color.
The downside was that by the end of the night, it was on everything. My teeth, food, plate, clothes. You have to be very careful! Especially since these colors are so bold. Other than that, no complaints. I’m definitely going to try to buy all of them. ALL of them.

Poison Ivy Tutorial

Nicki Minaj – “Hello, Good Morning” Makeup Tutorial

So I’ve been out sick all last week, I even missed out on celebrating Halloween.
Even though I have tons of make up homework, I needed to play with actual make up, you know, to get it out of my system..
I was supposed to be Nicki Minaj for Halloween, so what better than to have a tutorial of one of her looks, AND it continues on my whole ‘Music Video Series.’ I chose ‘ Hello Good morning’ because she’s so dang cute in that video, and I love the icy blues with the bold pink lip. Lady Gaga – “Judas” Makeup tutorial

Yesterday I created a makeup tutorial for Halloween, (or whatever the occasion). I did the look Lady Gaga had in the music video for Judas.

This is one of my favorite looks so far, and I’m so glad to be back on Youtube. I do need to apologize for the video having a lot of cuts. I didn’t realize it was soooo long, so I had to edit a lot out, and for that I’m sorry. AND, the quality isn’t as good as I had hoped, so lesson learned.. But I hope you all enjoyed it. It was fun making it!!

Cardboard Type v1.0

This is my second time taking Expressive Type class with Natalie, and truthfully I enjoy it the second time around..
Primarily because there’s a total of 7 kids in my class, as opposed to 30.

SO, this is my second time creating type out of cardboard, and it turned out better than the first. But I still plan on making it look a lot better (for photography purposes). All I used was cardboard (of course), hot glue, and spray paint. And I didn’t think of cardboard not holding white spray paint well without gesso; lesson learned. The word I was assigned was ‘CLEAN’.

I enjoyed working with it, mostly because I knew what I was doing this time. It took a total of 5.5 hours.
